About Me

Hi, I’m Siva Ram Nyapathi.

I started learning computers when computer education was still finding its way into India. My first experiments were with Microsoft FrontPage, and that early exposure to web technologies sparked a curiosity that never really left. Soon I learned C, and with resources like W3Schools and PHP, I finally connected the dots between the browser and the server. That moment understanding how the internet “talks” pulled me deeper into software.

I chose Information Technology, and over time I learned that academics give me fundamentals, but building real things teaches you how systems behave in the real world. Platforms like Lynda.com helped me gain practical confidence early on, and that hands-on mindset has stayed with me.

Professionally, I began my career at Oracle, where I was mentored by experienced engineers and got to work around critical systems with many moving parts. Later, at Ellucian (higher education systems), I learned the craft of building products—thinking in terms of lifecycle, impact, and continuous improvement. I also had an interesting stint at Wibmo, and across these experiences I’ve seen the industry evolve from manual deployments to automated pipelines, cloud provisioning, and now a new wave of AI-assisted engineering.

Outside work, I enjoy exploring linguistics languages, dialects, and how people communicate. I also research astrology with a learner’s mindset. I believe in learning by doing, and in teaching by sharing—this website is my space to document what I build, what I learn, and what I find meaningful.

Keep your inner fire burning.
